The latest instalment in the #IntroducingOneSTOP series focuses on the project’s prioritisation pillar. OneSTOP is developing a data-driven prioritisation system to enhance the management of invasive alien species (IAS). By integrating automated workflows, model projections and multi-criteria analysis, the project will effectively identify and rank IAS risks.

To support targeted resource allocation, OneSTOP will assess IAS distribution, pathways, and potential biodiversity impacts while also considering management feasibility to improve decision-making for regional authorities. Automated workflows will convert real-time data into a comprehensive IAS prioritisation system, incorporating modelled projections under current and future conditions, pathway analysis, and data-driven horizon scanning. The goal is to fill gaps in existing data and knowledge while ensuring decision-making tools are practical and widely accepted.
